Infrared (IR) Filter replacement for the XL300N and identical light sources
The Infrared Filter used in PFM Xenon Light sources is critical to the continued operation and reliablity of the equipment. Xenon lamps produce unwanted Infrared radiation during normal operation and, without a filter, this is converted directly into heat in the fiber optic bundle. Prolonged usage in this condition can cause fiber optic failure.
PFM Part no 6000 1 should be installed or replaced if there is a reasonable suspicion of IR leakage. Contact PFM for technical assistance or inquiries for repair and servicing of Xenon light sources.
